RM Solutions is a specialized risk
advisory firm that was created in 1995 in response to the growing
need for independent risk management advice.
We offer risk
financing/insurance and risk management services to senior managers
of organizations that must contend with complex risk issues. Our
principal advisors have extensive international corporate experience
and backgrounds that underpin an ability and commitment to align
risk management strategies with the commercial interests of business
clients. RM Solutions can assist clients to directly access insurance
markets both locally and internationally. RM Solutions is unencumbered
by normal broker/insurer conflicts of interest.

Our
principal advisors have extensive international corporate experience

safety and environment.
Paul Fitzgerald – Risk Assessment,
Risk Financing & Insurance
Paul
Fitzgerald provides strategic advice in the design and implementation
of corporate risk management programs. Paul was a Vice-President
and the Director of Canadian operations for International Risk Management
Group (IRMG), a Captive Management and Risk Advisory Services firm.
He has held the senior corporate risk management position for large
Canadian and international companies.
Paul Fitzgerald specializes in developing unique and flexible programs
to finance risk using the traditional insurance and reinsurance
markets as well as alternative risk transfer (ART) markets and offshore
captive insurance facilities. These programs are designed to meet
and exceed corporate governance responsibilities for managing the
prominent risks of an organization that could impact on reputation
and financial stability.
Paul
has developed new initiatives that will enhance an organization’s
environmental management program. Supported by insurance, these
programs will allow clients to cap and financially guarantee their
environmental liabilities and execute a comprehensive strategy for
responsibly exiting contaminated sites.
Paul
Fitzgerald holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University
of Western Ontario. He is a member of the Registered Insurance Brokers
of Ontario (RIBO). Paul is the Principal Broker of RMC. Associates
Inc. an affiliate of RM Solutions, which specializes in the placement
of environmental insurance products. Paul is a member of the Global
Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) and an Associate Member
of the Ontario Risk and Insurance Management Society (ORIMS).

Craig
Camplong – Occupational Health, Safety & Environment
Craig
Camplong has extensive experience in the field of occupational health,
safety, environment (HSE) and product safety. He was Corporate Manager
of HSE for Indal Limited and Manager Environment and Product Safety
for Union Carbide Canada Limited. He has developed and audited health,
safety and environment management systems for a variety of organizations
in the automotive, forestry, textiles, paper, petrochemical, plastics,
mining, manufacturing and public sectors.
As
an advisor over the last ten years Craig has assisted a variety
of organizations in various sectors to implement HSE management
systems including ISO 14001 and 9001:2000. He has conducted training
seminars on ISO 14001 auditing and system development and conducted
legislative compliance audits across Canada. As an assessor for
the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) and US Registrar Accreditation
Board (RAB), Craig conducts audits for ISO 14001-registrar accreditation.
He is an auditor under the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
Craig is Chairman of the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) Task
Group for Environmental Management Systems Registration Organizations
and member of the Canadian Medical Devices Registration Body Forum.
He is also a member of the SCC Task Group Quality Management System
Registrar Organizations and member of ISO TC176/207 Joint Working
Group Subcommittee on Quality and Environmental Auditing; involved
in the development of ISO 19011. He is an associate member of the
Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Technical Committee on Environmental
Auditing in which he developed the first draft of a Canadian standard
for environmental legislative compliance auditing. Craig is an examiner
of prospective certified auditors for the Canadian Environmental
Auditing Association. He is a Certified Environmental Auditor with
a Bachelor of Environmental Studies Degree.
